The morning papers talk of students killing each other. It certainly not a new phenomenon. Ever since the early days of politics, there have been killings. Politics has carried forth into educational institutions, and as did the killings. There were very few reasons for the killings and students often did not know why they kill.
Following political murders in a college in recent past, the honorable high court of Kerala had suggested for a law for a complete ban on political activities in educational institutions in Kerala. But none of the political parties supported that idea. As such the political activities in Kerala are very high in every fields. This has seriously affected the growth of this state. There is no industrial development due to employee unions creating issues with the backing of political parties and agriculture is fast declining due to high labour cost fixed by labour unions.
