Seeking within yourself

We have often heard the phrase “Seek within You”. Haven’t you wondered what this is all about?

For centuries humanity went through the slow process of what is termed progress. From the mule cart to the motor car was a slow progress, covering centuries. From the car to the moon rocket was a leap. Mankind considered himself beyond reach of God, Nature or fellow creatures. He was the epitome of creations, in fact he was the creator. Above him, was only himself! His vanity allowed him to write celebratory notes about himself and his prowess. Mankind ruled the earth. One thing he forgot was the fact that the Dinosaurs ruled mightily over the world for hundreds of centuries, much more than mankind did – until they were all wiped out by a ball of fire from the skies, leaving behind only skeletal fossils behind. He also forgot the fact that history has a habit of repeating itself.

2020 years after the Christian era began and mankind was at the Zenith of his vain posturing when something hit him hard. He went to sleep one night, with the surety that the sun will raise the next day and that all will go as per his plan, when he woke up to a nasty reality. A semi life microbe had suddenly stolen him of his place of power and now ruled over him instead. He was now locked up within the confines of his own home, cowering in fear. Those who dared, paid with their lives. Mankind was suddenly second best, to a creature that was not even visible. Today he struggles hard with what little pride he has left. He puts on a pretention of courage and bravado, claiming that victory will be his, all the while shivering within himself. So much for his greatness!!!

When Nature made man, it endowed him with the ability to reason. He was naturally gifted light of wisdom in his brain, so that he would reckon the real and unreals. The reality within his heart, clearly visible to the inner eye was obscured by the false glow of the transitory outside. Material objects and a manmade paper piece attained the place of honour in  the house of love, mercy and kindness. And in the pursuit of these, mankind went amuck, destroying everything Nature so benignly gifted him. He then wrongly named it “Progress”. It gave him a sense of false security and an air of invincibility. With wanton disregard, he questioned all the Truths and broke down all of Nature’s rules. He mocked at all those who advised him restrain and to refrain. He crowned himself Almighty. Till he was made to bite the dust by a tiny, unsophisticated and simplistic living molecule. So much for his place pride and the ownership of the world.

It is time for man to rethink his priorities……..

It is high time he turned his eyes inward. Took a look at the miracle he himself is, the wonderland of his mind .that beats all the casinos and entertainment parks around. The myriad mysteries that lies beneath everything he does, the magic of logic he possesses in every thought. It was time he took a look at the wonders that every physical part of him is, producing just the exact amount of the most exotic substances that no research lab can, and at the exact moment of need. Replicate life and protect it till it is ready to come to the world. It is time he marveled at the wonders of his soul with the sheer beauties of love, kindness and humility and the beauties of relationships like parenthood, romance, friendship and brotherhood.

All it takes is to pull your minds free of the beckoning of money and all it can buy and seek that which comes free of cost to you. Sit in the corner of that mansion, you call your heart and look within you. Find the beauty that comes calling you. This is one place that no fear can touch you. This is the point that even death can’t find you out.

So how do you reach this point? What does the term seek within you mean? Seek within you literally signifies asking questions, quieting the mind, going within yourself and allowing the answers to come to you. When you do this, you get your answers directly from source. Everyone has an opinion related to any and every thing on this planet. A lot of the opinions are based on doctrines that have been passed down from generation to generation. Other opinions are a result of the scientific logical mind perspective; and still some are based on experience. When you seek from within, you do not blindly rely on outside information to validate what you think you already know. You are open to the possibilities. These possibilities may seem fantastic to our reasoning but time has proven that these are invariably correct. A simple example is the feeling of uneasiness you sometime get for no apparent reason that comes true eventually. This is your liaise with the source of all truth. You may call it God or the link with Nature. The deeper you delve into it the more you are likely to see its true insides.

Your conscious interaction with the inner self will open new vistas to you. It will drive away the fears that you experience in terms of loss, failure, and defeat and install within you a level of peace that you never ever found before. It give you a feeling of true satisfaction and a closeness to the Truth. Ultimately it imbibes in you the sense of humility coupled with the assurance that you are never alone.

There are many ways to reach this point. Meditation, yoga, prayers, it really does not matter what you call it, it is simply a deep reflection an attempt to reach and unveil the everlasting Spirit that has been ever present in you. It is just that you kept it covered with the dirt of your material thoughts.

Seek it within. It is there for all….
