Let me disillusion you. The day of reckoning is not in the unseen future, millennia from now. It is a lot closer. You and I will close our eyes once, never to reopen them. And you never can schedule the date and time for this most momentous event of your life. That is moment when the Taj Mahals you built would have no difference from the huts in the yonder slum. So the only thing that matters how many will sigh in sorrow and how many in relief.
All those stretch sedan would now be someone else’s even if they are your own children. Just because you built it with the millions you made, they will no longer allow you to sleep for eternity in the king size bed you slept in till the previous day. No, you die, you quit.
Why then do you pretend that the world is all yours? Why do you have that sly smirk on your face when you watch the poor man begging for one meal for the day? With all your gluttony, remember you are a better candidate for death than the poor dude. He with sparse food and move exercise, is definitely in a better shape than you. No the smile will fade when the first signs of fatality hits you and then you realise way too late that one lavish meal of yours could have stopped the poor man and possibly his entire family from starving and may be kept you alive a day longer.
Money is an instrument for exchange. The alternatives are stealing or begging. It is meant to change hands, not hidden in bank vaults. And do remember the more you put money you put in circulation, the more the economy will grow, less people will suffer and eventually come back top you manifold
