Sometimes it is better to be deaf

Okay, we need to keep abreast of happenings. The world around you is changing by the minute. The need to be in the know of all things immediate and relevant is of truly vital importance. The happenings around your place of living, the changes that related to your work and workplace, the change in the price of vitals, the latest in entertainment and most importantly the situation pertaining to health and safety. The awareness of the heaviness of traffic can make your commuting a lot easier, help you get to your destination on time A weather update can keep you from getting wet in the rains and news about unrest in town can help avoid you getting stranded in the snarled traffic. Yes we really need to be there at every moment.
Yet there are instances when turning a deaf ear to, is a very real need. There are discussion on the television where representative from various forums, political parties and organizations come forth with their version of the truth. This is perhaps the most worthless matter you are likely to hear. These are the nonsense that they want to impose on a citizenry, whose ill fate is what made these nincompoops what they are. They hope to fool you into believing that the dirty deeds they did, are doing or intend to do are done so, for you and your good.
There are those who try and tell the world that they have been sacrifices for you and me and that their deeds keep the world moving. They pretend to carry burdens and roll out promises to all. They keep indicating that the only way is their way. You and I have to follow these pathways to live a decent life. The taxes you pay and the hard work you do are immaterial and it is they that dole our wellbeing out to us. We are supposed to be thankful and happy that they are there doing these acts of greatness and conveniently forget that we have been lynched by them over the years
There is just one word for them……We don’t want to hear you!!!!
